The Blue Valley Tigers Baseball Varsity take out Bishop Kelly with help from Rayn Robinson, 7-4

The Blue Valley Tigers Baseball Varsity beat Bishop Kelly 7-4 in seven innings on Friday behind Rayn Robinson, who went 2-2.

He singled in the second inning and doubled in the seventh inning.
Ryan Cyr got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over 5 1/3 innings. He struck out seven, walked two and surrendered five hits.
Matthew Limekiller ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just 4 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
The Blue Valley Tigers Baseball Varsity went up for good in the first, scoring one run on.
After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fourth, Bishop Kelly faced just a 2-1 deficit. A walk by Ryan Marshall gave Bishop Kelly life. Finally, Ryan Cyr induced an inning-ending strike out from Max Simpson.
The Blue Valley Tigers Baseball Varsity tacked on another four runs in the fifth. A wild pitch scored Ryan Brady to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by Brandon Lee's triple, plating Chance Nelson.
Two runs in the bottom of the fifth helped Bishop Kelly close its deficit to 6-3. A wild pitch and an error sparked Bishop Kelly's rally. The Blue Valley Tigers Baseball Varsity stopped the rally after Ryan Cyr got Sean Votaw to strike out.
After pushing across one run in the bottom of the sixth, Bishop Kelly faced just a 6-4 deficit. An RBI double by Hunter Hughes fueled Bishop Kelly's comeback. Finally, Grant Kuecker got Charlie Wrona to strike out to end the threat.
