Blue Valley Tigers Varsity drops game to BV West in late innings, 6-3

The Blue Valley Tigers Baseball Varsity jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the second. The Blue Valley Tigers Baseball Varsity's offense woke up as Mitch Rogers singled before Chase Robinson singled, bringing home Mitch and Caeden Harris.

BV West plated only one run through the third inning, but Tanner Fox took the loss, lasting just 4 1/3 innings. He walked one, struck out six, and allowed five runs.  The game was never in doubt after the fifth, as BV West scored five runs on a two-run double by Sam Davis, a passed ball, and an RBI single by Ryan Ralston.  BV West was sparked by Sam Davis and Evan Bourn, who teamed up for three hits and three RBIs.

Zach Engelken recorded the win for BV West. He allowed three runs over five innings. Zach struck out three, walked two and gave up four hits. BV West closer Davis Schwab put away the final four outs to record the save.
