Perez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just 4 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.

Blue Valley Tigers Baseball Varsity closer Tanner Strickbine put away the final three outs to record the save.

The third inning saw BV Northwest score its only run on the day on an RBI single by Fuller.

The Blue Valley Tigers Baseball Varsity didn't relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the third inning when they scored on a two-run single by Rayn Robinson.
